Welcome to trio telepatico.
Following the “young talent course” of Arco Baleno, in June 2009 Trio Telepatico was founded, a piano trio with three talented and enthusiastic musicians between the age of 12 and 14: violinist Jeroen De Beer, violoncellist Martijn Devolder and pianist Pieter-Jan Verhoyen. The ensemble played their first concert July 4th 2009 in the Church St. Gilles in Bruges, followed by more concerts in Bruges and surroundings. The Trio took lessons in Chamber Music at the Royal Conservatory of Bruges in Arne Deforce’s class. In June 2013 these studies were rewarded with a Certificate for Chamber Music with the highest distinction. Meanwhile the ensemble was coached by Arco Baleno and they took classes with Marcel Lequeux and Bart van de Roer (Storioni Trio). In 2010, the Bruges Piano Trio won first prize in the Vlamo Competition for small ensembles (in the Excellence category). During the European Music Festival for the youth in Neerpelt, the trio again won first prize for chamber music. On November 14th 2013, the trio amazed everyone during the finale of the Belfius Classics Competi- tion where they won first prize. Of all the laureates, they earned the highest score. During the closing concert and the award ceremony – in the Brussels Munt Theatre – the Trio played the Tripelconcerto of Alexander Tcherepnin, accompanied by the Sturm und Klang Orchestra. In December 2013 the Chamber Music Ensemble participated in the Storioni Competition in the Netherlands. Out of 17 competing ensembles – students at Conservatories in Flanders and the Netherlands of young profes- sional musicians – Trio Telepatico, the youngest ensemble was chosen as one of the four finalists.
